What are you doing immediately after the reception?

Are you getting on a plane going straight on the honeymoon? Are you going home? Are you going to a hotel? Since our wedding ends at 4:30, we are going to leave from the reception in a Rolls Royce the venue provides to a hotel at the airport for 1 night. Then leave for our honeymoon the next morning....

Since our wedding ends at 4:30, we are going to leave from the reception in a Rolls Royce the venue provides to a hotel at the airport for 1 night. Then leave for our honeymoon the next morning. Just curious as to what you are doing immediately after the wedding is over.

The very first thing I want to do is visit FH's aunt who is shut-in an can't come to the wedding. She's in her late 80's. I want to take her one of the flower arrangements and let her see my dress and him in his tuxedo. Then we will go back to our hotel (that we haven't booked yet) where it will be a race to see which of us falls asleep first.

We haven't booked our wedding night hotel yet because we can't decide if we want to stay at the hotel with the rest of our family and guests (mostly my family since much of his family lives in the area) OR go somewhere by ourselves. But, he wants to attend church the next morning with his mother (the same place we had the ceremony). I want to sleep, sleep, sleep, but will give in for him this time because it will make his mother happy (she's 91).

Honeymoon will be one week later when we have booked the cruise from NY to Bermuda. It will give me a few days back at work to share the good news with everyone.

We all are staying at the inn where everything is at. It starts on Friday night, with Dinner. The reception does not have an end time. The DJ is a friend. When the booze runs out(highly unlikely as we have overbought) or the DJ is finished playing, we are rolling up to our room and hoping we don't find surprises.

We will stay at the inn until Monday to see everyone off on Sunday and get stuff together. We depart for the mini moon on Monday.

We are going to the hotel to change and then it's party time for us. Then we are going to retire to our room until the Saturday morning. Saturday we are hosting a brunch for all of our hotel guests. After brunch it's home for a night and then it's off to the airport Sunday morning. We didn't want to leave the next day because we wanted to spend some time with our OOT guests.
