With all the negativity surrounding weddings lately - especially with all the election drama and COVID-19 surging again- I thought it would be nice to have a positive thread to get us excited about our weddings and planning again!
So... what aspect of your wedding do you thing your guests are going to be most excited about? What do you think will most surprise them? Is there one thing you or your fiancé are super excited about (besides the obvious- marrying your spouse!)? Share the details!!

We are having a string quartet also! It wasn’t something I had initially wanted or really even thought about, tbh. But the venue we chose isn’t wired for sound outside, so that was our best option if we wanted music for our ceremony. It was a decision made out of necessity, but now I’m actually pretty excited about it!

Oh thats great! I play violin, and a lot of my emotions are closely connected to music so it was super important to me to have that!

I am married now but for me i know what i was most excited about was the food haha. we hiked our budget up double so that we could afford the food we wanted and i am so glad we did because we got tons of compliments about how good the food was

I’m excited about walking down the aisle. We have a funny/stupid ice breaker song to play before I walk. There’s also a bet going on, on whether or not FH will shed a tear. He’s got someone on his side already who plans to hold a sign in support of him not crying. I think I can break him lol

Thank you for this post! I think I needed it to start thinking about all the positives.

I’m mostly excited about seeing everyone, and seeing my fiancé when I walk down the isle. I know I will be an emotional mess, but I get butterflies every time I think about it.
& the venue is beautiful! So I can’t wait until I see the place all dressed up.

Yay!! That was what I was hoping the post would do for people- get them thinking about all the fun things that await them (even if we do have to wait a bit longer than we had planned to enjoy them)!
