What are you feeding your wedding party the morning/afternoon of?

Felecia, on May 23, 2017 at 12:35 PM Posted in Planning 0 44

Hello,

I am looking for some cost effective ideas on what to feed my bridal party before the wedding. I was thinking of having someone pick up something like those trays of wraps/sandwhiches and salads from costco and having those while we are getting ready. Any other ideas? We will be ready and out of hotel by 1pm for pictures, should I do more breakfast food?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Sandwich trays and fruit are always a great and easy option!

I picked up biscuitville party platters for us for breakfast (along with mimosas) and we did a jimmy johns order for lunch!

We're doing a small deli tray, and tuna or chicken salad... probably getting bagels or danishes for breakfast.

What I usually see in the bridal suites is exactly that; wrap sandwiches, fruit, mimosas. little cookies and pastries.

We stayed at a hotel the night before the wedding so breakfast was covered by the hotel. Then the boys grabbed those crescent sandwiches from Costco for lunch on the way to the venue.

Oh following! For the morning of the wedding I was thinking bagels, fruit and mimosas! Our ceremony starts at 2:30 so I need some lunch ideas. Probably some sort of sandwiches or wraps but not 100% sure yet.

Not sure what we're doing yet but in the weddings I've been in they've had a lot of what pp's mentioned. Bagels, muffins, fruit, and mimosas for breakfast and for lunch usually some big subs from Subway or other deli and chips, leftover fruit, soda. Bottled water wouldn't be a bad addition either.

We are going to do some party trays fir the local grocery store. Maybe a meat platter, cheese tray and some fruit. And champagne of course! May even order room service if we all get really hungry.

I'm ordering bagels from Panera for breakfast, and mini subs from Jimmy Johns for lunch. We'll also have a mimosa bar and some fruit to snack on.

FH wants to make tacos since they're getting ready at our house. I'm letting him handle that lol.

Ours is a morning getting-ready time, so I'll be ordering in breakfast sandwiches and a fruit platter - and have a bottle of bubbly too!

Remind the guys to plan for something to eat too Smiley smile For some reason all the weddings I've been in the girls have had an abundance of food and the guys show up at the ceremony starving and ready to faint!

I'm going the breakfast route even though my ceremony isn't until later. Girls are getting ready at my house. I'm gonna get various bagels, cream cheese, and muffins from a local bakery. I'll also pick up a fruit platter and have various snack foods (think cheese and crackers, pretzels) and of course mimosas.

For breakfast I stopped at a local bagel place and got bagels (I asked everyone who was attending their favorite bagel and bought a dozen) and had butter, cream cheese, and a variety of juices.

Then we went to Costco. I got a fruit tray to go with the bagels, and then I got a various lunch meats, rolls, mayo and cheeses for sandwiches. I think lettuce too from the grocery store. And then had sodas/water bottles and the morning juices. I also got a big tin of pretzels for an in-between snack.

Did this x2 one for girls and one for guys.

No clue! Having a brunch wedding so we have to get up and start getting ready at the butt-crack-of-dawn. Was thinking some fruit, muffins, bacon or ham, but unsure because we'll be eating breakfast/brunch food a few hours later.

The pinwheel sandwiches from Costco are amazing! We are doing those, fruit, hummus and pretzels, and muffins. Oh... and mimosas with mango preserves from Costco too!
