Hi ladies! I’m currently searching for a make-up artist/hairstylist for my wedding in 2020.Today I had a consultation with this makeup artist and she quoted me $1000 for bridal hair and make-up! And that was only for the bride! I wanted to know what everyone else is paying for their hair and makeup. My wedding is near the OH/IN border.

My friend paid $600 for hair+make-up from a well-known artist in Puerto Rico, and it was above average for PR.

Have you ever checked out the WeddingWire cost guide? It's a really cool tool which lets you get cost averages for different wedding vendors in your location. I think you will find it helpful!
According to the guide, most couples spend between $103 - $500 on wedding hair and makeup in the OH area. The average cost is $300. $1,000 or more would be in the upper range. You can check it out and read more here - Wedding Hair and Makeup Cost Guide.

I did check out your guide but after I met with the HMUA haha.
Im currently looking for other HMUA’s and I did find some through WeddingWire that I liked!
