Just trying to get ideas for the menu. Sorry should have been clearer, wanted to see what you are serving.

    Dessert: ice cream wedding cake

Midnight lunch: smokies on the grill, with a fruit and veggie tray

We have a cheese and cracker tray, bacon wrapped scallops, mini spring rolls, and mini coconut shrimp for appetizers.

For the entrees we will be serving filet mignon and a chicken dish and they each come with salad, veggies, and some form of starch(most likely mashed taters)

Hot dogs or chicken nuggets w/ mac and cheese for the kids meal and a vegan option.

I know it may seem like a lot, and it kinda is for a max of 100 people, but we had to spend a minimum on food and beverage anyways so oh well! lol

We're doing a more casual and rustic wedding! So, I won't be having the traditional dinner like many of you are, but instead we are having a dessert bar! Pies, cakes, and desserts cooked by our family and friends. I would love to have the recipe cards beside the desserts, so if our guests fall in love with them they can make the disses themselves! My FH and I are also college students, so we're making it classy and practical!

    I gave everyone a choice

There was Chicken Florentine, Mahi Mahi, or Top Sirloin.

Then everyone got mixed steamed vegtables, a roll, salad and baked potato.

and there was iced tea and water pitchers at every table.

    3. poached prawn with a citrus mayonnaise and wild rocket

    4. poached chicken with fresh sage, walnut, apple, celery and mayonnaise.

    Entrée:

    Mains:

1.free range chicken breast, wrapped in pancetta, pan roasted, served with a caponata of egg plant, zucchini, cherry tomato, onion, celery basil and extra virgin olive oil.

    2. lamb rack pan roasted to medium rare, cooked with whole shirted garlic, and fresh thyme, served with potato mash and a parsley butter persillade.

    Dessert:

1.baked profiteroles filled with pastry cream and smothered in a rich dark chocolate sauce.

    2. oven baked fresh mascarpone and vanilla bean cheese cake with a light biscuit and almond crust served with chantilly cream

Thinking of ditching dessert for wedding cupcakes and adding a late night snack
