I’d like to share my precautions so far and invite you to share yours. Who knows maybe we’ll get ideas from one another to implement on our day. Because let’s be honest there is not enough information on hosting a safe wedding. Calling all brides who’ve already gotten married during COVID and those who are going to this year.

So far we have personalized masks for our guests

Masks for wedding party

Mask holders so guests can have a safe place to put their masks when eating

Silicone glass covers (mostly for preventing bugs but will do great to protect drinks from germs)

Glass stem labels

Socially distanced ceremony and reception seating (by households) cfb_1448925.jpgcfb_1448927.jpg

I’m also thinking about moving my entire wedding outdoors. The ceremony is in the outdoor garden but we are booked in the venues ballroom. To use the outdoor space is a lot extra but we are saving for it just in case. I think guests will prefer to be outdoors.

I agree! I am letting my fiancé know now that for guests to practice these safety protocols, we have to lead by example. They’ll see us wearing our masks and will keep theirs on when not eating.

Yes, I'm assuming they would prefer it. That's cool that some would even eat indoors for your wedding. My love ones will not lol.

Hey, I wanted to add that the website, Allseated is a great tool to use to plan your socially distanced seating arrangements and households seating. You can even use your venue space to create your floor plan. My venue only had one of their banquet halls available to use on this site but some venues have more. My wedding will be completely outdoors but I liked having an idea of the arrangements. This site is great because it shows you 3D visuals of your seating arrangements. Hope this site can help you all too! What are your covid wedding safety precautions? 1
