What are your favorite planning tools?

What have you found to be most helpful?

For example, the free wedding planning template via GoogleSheets is a blessing. It can be accessed via phone/laptop or printed out to put in a homemade planner. Which leads to the planner. Most that are sold on Amazon or at local bookstores are too expensive and have extra stuff we don’t need or want so it was suggested to get a blank 3 ring binder from Target and clear sheets to store paint swatches, fabric swatches, brochures, contracts, etc.

The checklist on The Knot has been my saving grace throughout the planning process! I haven't looked into the checklist here on Wedding Wire (I didn't find this site until late into our planning for our original date), but I imagine that it'd be pretty similar. I also put together a binder with all of our signed vendor contracts, color swatches, contact information, etc. I also wrote and saved our ceremony script as a Google Doc for us and our officiant to access/edit.

I used The Knot’s checklist & loved it! I also had it set up for our honeymoon fund.

Honestly - canva. I've designed all of our paper goods - our digital invitations, our menus and signage that will be printed, plus the thank you stickers for our favours, for our cake bags and to stick on the bottles of wine we're using instead of a guest book.

I've loved how easy it is to use, and it has all the features I need to print a good quality version. I'm really pleased with how cohesive and professional everything looks, since I'm not a graphic designer or anything!

Definitely Google sheets! I found out late in my planning process that you can use create a free personal Trello account. If you don't know Trello check it out. I use it for work and it's great for keeping everything organized and has checklists so you can mark off what's been and track what still needs to be done.
