There’s a bible verse that’s pretty common but I loved it so included it in my own in 1 Corinthians 13:
4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

I absolutely love this! This reminds me of a reading I heard at a handfasting ceremony.

Like the other poster said, Corinthians love is patient is a very popular choice. We didn't have a religious ceremony, but at our rehearsal dinner my brother read Corinthians before dinner. At the ceremony, my grandmother read a poem she wrote specifically for the wedding. I had asked her if she wanted to write and read a poem for the wedding and she was so honored. She has always written me poems for important events in my life. I loved how personal it was.
