Also if he didn’t want children that would be a deal-breaker. Very happy that my man and I are on the same page with wanting 2.

LOL I actually woke up sick on saturday. I got up, and got meds. Literally the next morning, FW wakes up, "I think I'm sick. Can you get me meds? And tea? And later can you find the eucalyptus bath bombs for me?" My response, "Did you break your arms too?" I can't deal lol

I used to be one of those girls that said EW No smoking! BUT after leaving an emotionally abusive/manipulative relationship with someone who cheated on me with multiple girls during our 8 year relationship (I say girls since the last one had just turned 17 when I found out he was sleeping with her) I have a whole new set of deal breakers; must want kids, no cheating, no lying, treat me like an equal partner who doesn't treat me like his mother expecting to me take care of everything myself and clean up after him. FH is actually a smoker, I've realized from my past that there are a things worse than a smoking habit in a relationship , though one of our few arguments was when I caught him trying to hide that he was smoking from me, told him I may not like that he's smoking but I can't tell him not to, he's an adult and I'm not his mom, but what ticked me off was that he was hiding it from me. Am actually excited because he went to the doctor and got nicotine patches to try to quit.

    The serious deal breakers:

addictions like gambling, smoking, drug usage

    the less serious deal breakers:

someone who is too into what I consider "obscure artsy fartsy stuff" (no offense to people here who are into it, I'm just not that sophisticated, hah) such as interpretive dance, modern art pieces made with garbage, 10 course meals that include all aerated foamed foods.

I'm so glad my fiance is none of the above!

    1. Having or wanting kids - if he changes his mind and wants to be a dad, we're done.
    2. Vebal-emotional-physical abuse
    3. Picking up cigarette smoking
    4. Rude to waitstaff/service industry people
    5. Disrespectful to our pets
    6. Complacency - whining about problems without coming up with solutions.

When I was still in the dating game my main deal breakers were job, car ,or own place. 2 out of 3 was good but I hated being put in the plce to take care of a grown adult 🙄✌️. I can’t really think of any deal breakers nowadays... I guess cuz my man was literally the opposite of them 😍
i do know that his deal breaker was someone younger than him, and especially not someone younger than his sister. Well here we are and I am 12 years younger 🤯. He eventually got over the age thing.

Smoking for sure. And he has to have respect and support for me. An ex hated when I went to the gym to work out or to church because I wasn't spending that time with him. No sir.

Being rude/disrespectful to my family; being rude/disrespectful to their own family and being rude/disrespectful to me.
