I had to pick a date that would coincide with school breaks since I'm a teacher. I picked 10/10/20, even though it's a Saturday, because it's my late father's birthday and because it's the weekend before our Fall break. It's peak season in Phoenix so it's a double-whammy.

Saturday! My FH was so for a traditional Saturday. Plus there was no difference in price for a different day of the week for our venue!

Sunday because we saved over $10,000 picking this date over a Friday or Saturday. 😊

My FH and I are getting married on a Sunday. It wasn't so much the day of the week but the actual wedding date that holds special significance for us.

We've decided on a Sunday. Most of my family has church on Saturday.

My fiancé and I are going with a Thursday evening. We don’t have parents to help out with expenses, so we’re funding everything completely on our own and we got some great deals on our venue and vendors by having an off day. Also, almost all our aunts and uncles are retired, so it didn’t matter to them, and everyone else had over a years notice to try to make arrangements. Most of our guests are local, so that helps. Were both nurses and we only work 3 days/week, as are a bunch of our friends, so it’s not a scheduling issue for the large group of them. We’ve found a lot of our guests are planning to take Friday off work and enjoying a long weekend. Thursday just made the most sense for our situation.

Friday! We really didn't have a strong opinion about which day, it came down to more of what was available and if there was a bigger price difference from one day to another.

We are doing Friday! We are getting married on my great great grandparents' 100th anniversary. My FH proposed with her rings so its special and we know the people we love will be there and those who can't we totally understand.

I decided on a friday since I wanted the date: April 1st. I've been getting a lot of hesitation from my parents and my future in laws. However, my wedding is like 3 years out and I've already been getting some negative comments on that so I dont think I can push it out another year to get it on a Saturday.
