    We chose Saturday because we wanted people to be well rested and not have to worry about taking time off of work if we did it on a Friday or leave early on Sunday because they had to work Monday morning.

    We're getting married on a Sunday. Our venue was much cheaper on Sunday compared to their Saturday rates and we figured everyone would already have to take off Friday to travel to our mini-destination wedding, might as well have them take off Monday and we save $$$.

    We were planning on a Saturday, but FH would prefer to get married in a courthouse and they aren't open on Saturday's around here and I would like to do it all on one day - so we will probably do a Friday and then a reception later in the evening!
