What day of the week are you getting married?

We're getting married on a Wednesday. We wanted to get married on our anniversary and it happens to fall on a Wednesday next year. We're eloping so it doesn't matter to anyone but us.

We are having our wedding on a Thursday! Most of our families will be flying down from up north. The venue is half price if you chose a weekday rather than the weekend. And the price for food was also cheaper during the week 😇

We decided on a Saturday, maybe have our rehearsal dinner during the week

We are getting married on Saturday, May 15, 2021. We were to be married this Saturday (June 20th) but the Coronavirus put an end to that. Saturday is traditional and is convenient for out of town guests.

We are getting married on Saturday, May 15, 2021. We hope that the weather will be nice, but in Wisconsin you never know. Wisconsin weather is schizophrenic--it never knows what it wants to do.

We picked a Friday! We are doing a semi-destination wedding in our state, so since a lot of our family members/friends haven't visited the city we're getting married in, we wanted to do our wedding on a Friday, so they can all spend time in the area on Saturday, before heading home on Sunday.

We are planning on the Saturday before Thanksgiving so that we can honeymoon for a few days and then come back just in time for our first holiday as a married couple!

Due to postponement, our wedding is now going to fall on a Thursday. The date we chose was very meaningful to us, so we did not want to switch it just so that it would fall on a weekend next year. We are having a Destination wedding though, so it works out great! - everyone will be attending the wedding on Thursday night then staying through the weekend. We love the idea of extending the celebration over 4 days, rather than just one evening!

Saturday is the traditional day for Weddings. Most people have the weekend off and Sunday is a great day to re-cooperate after a long, exciting wedding day and wedding night.
