What did you forget on your wedding day?

My (now) husband had one job for the morning of our wedding... to fill the petal toss cones with the rose petals and then bring the cones and extra petals to the venue for the aisle runner. He remembered the cones but left the extra petals at the hotel. So no aisle runner. 🤦🏻‍♀️ We threw them over the balcony at the hotel that night. LOL
And I did forget to get some important pictures I wanted. I thought I had them all on our shot list but I still missed some.

I forgot to bring one of my invitations for a details shot!

There was a sign i wanted to take photos with and it was in the car already but for some reason i forgot to even take it with me

I forgot the charger plates at home and I’m still so annoyed although no one but me noticed

One of my bridesmaids somehow forgot her dress at home!!! Don’t ask me how. Luckily, her family was coming a little later so they were able to drive it to our venue before the wedding.

I forgot my vows in the hotel room at my first wedding

A toothbrush.

And we had a pizza party in the getting-ready suite.

Bless DH, he loves garlic.

We were able to take things to the venue the night before, thankfully, so I wasn't feeling pushed to get things over there the morning of, and I managed not to forget anything.

If I can make a suggestion, if you start making lists now of what needs to go where and when it will help A LOT. The other thing I did was a couple of days ahead of the wedding, I began putting boxes/bags together of decor and the like (and an invitation suite, shoes, etc. - basically all the things that needed to go) and put them in the living room. They were in. the. way. - but it meant that I was so aggravated that they were there that I was ready for them to move out when the day came.

For our guest book we had kind of a frame where guests signed wooden butterflies and dropped them in.
I forgot to bring an easel to stand it up with. 🤦‍♀️

We also forgot the marriage license in the "safe place" we stored it at home.
Luckily we remembered on the way to check into the venue the night before and we were able to go pick it up, after the rehearsal.

No one’s gonna top this. I didn’t have a wedding coordinator, it was an intimate wedding with immediate family. I forgot about my bouquet to walk down the aisle with and toss petals for the end of the ceremony I’m still so sad about it, I know it’s something so small but you really only get married once. Got married a few days ago.

Oh and I walked down to the wrong song.
