What did you forget to pack

One thing I ALWAYS forget...my hair brush haha

We haven't gone on a honeymoon yet, but I when we checked into the hotel for the wedding, I realized that I forgot my shampoo, comb, phone charger and ring box. DH forgot his shirts...all he had was jeans, underclothes and socks.

When we went to the beach a few weeks ago, I forgot sunscreen.

I'm a contacts-wearer. I always forget glasses or extra contacts. Sometimes I forget both. I also suffer from an extreme case of overpacking. Sometimes, I have a (smaller) bag of just shoes. Packing for the honeymoon is going to be very, very difficult for me.

At least you are going someplace warm! Sundresses are much easier to pack than parkas

Bug spray... I went to Jamaica. I got occasional bites, but I got ate up by mosquitoes on the beach for a private dinner for 2. My legs looked like I had walked through a breeding ground. I'm allergic to mosquitoes too, so it had pussed up and itched for weeks. I still have the marks on my legs.

Cash... We had some but didn't take enough. Off the resort people wanted to be tipped for everything. We purposely went to a resort that had a no tipping policy.

A bag... to carry stuff to the beach.

Backup memory for the camera... ours became corrupted on the trip and lost all the photos from the honeymoon that were on the camera and couldn't take more since we had no other memory. We have a handful from the honeymoon that were taken by the resort.

I didn't forget the sunscreen which you'll definitely need.

I too over pack. My bag for our honeymoon was 46lbs but believe it or not, I forgot to pack a blouse I wanted to bring but that was the only thing.

ETA I even packed a citrinella candle to burn on the balcony to keep away mosquitos lol

I usually forget a hair brush or contact lens fluid.

Don't forget your charger and/or extra batteries for your camera

I usually always bring too many clothes but somehow always forget something else important!

Corkscrew-sometimes hotels don't have them. I also always bring a portable iPod player

I like to keep a small cosmetics bag packed with bottles of my shampoos, conditions, lotions, etc and a small brush, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc that just stay in my travel bag. That way if we go somewhere, be it when we go on our honeymoon, or if we go to see family for a few days, I don't have to worry about remembering stuff. Then all I have to concentrate on are my clothes.

We went to Vegas and we forgot Deodorant, first aid kit, headache medicine, Phone Charger, my socks, flat iron, comb, hair accessories, shaver or razor depends on what he uses, Chap stick and headphones. Luckily there was a Target about 8 minutes from the strip.

I didn't forget anything, we almost didn't have enough sunscreen, but still managed. I did lose my chapstick kinda early in the week, I think it was when we were laying drunk in a hammock, haha, but I just used my DH's instead. I overpack a lot too but did ok for the HM, lots of dresses, easy to pack. I also wanted to make sure I didn't go overweight even after souvenirs, I was successful! Have fun!

Oh, we were glad we brought a season of a TV show intended for the flights and layovers but we ended up watching a few in our room when it got super rainy. It was fun to drink and watch something we both enjoyed and the selections were limited on the TV.

Just got back from my honeymoon.... Cash (we didn't bring enough), bug spray/suntan lotion (again, not enough), sunglasses/sunhat, beach coverups, watershoes (if you like that kind of stuff, since the pool tiles/beach sand can be hot), chargers for phone/camera.... HAVE FUN!!!

We forgot our scuba certification cards...

... on the honeymoon where we chose the destination specifically to go scuba diving.

That put a bit of a damper on our plans for the first 3 or so days we were there until the certification office opened so they could email confirmation of our certification to the dive shop.

Bring cash even if there if no tipping is required. We did when we went to Jamaica and it was great! Lots of sunscreen and those hand wipe things
