What did you put on your wedding registry??

Th, on March 19, 2021 at 9:37 PM Posted in Registry 1 10
Hey all! So FH and I have lived together for 4 years this month. We r getting married in sept and having the bridal shower in June. My wonderful MOH and mom are doing all the planning as it’s a surprise, but they are asking for our registry. So this weekend FH and I are trying to go through it. I’m just curious what everyone puts on for their registry. We don’t need a lot but I did put some more long lasting kitchen supplies. We added some tools he wants, but I’m not sure what else to really put. We live in apartment now and are hoping to buy a house after we get married in another year or so, so I added some stuff for hosting like platters and an ice bucket for when we have a place big enough to host but yea I’m kind of at a loss! Any input/advice would be awesome!
Thanks!

Hi!! I added dish soap, Myers cleaner that smells so fresh, variety of dish towels for different seasons, scented candles, etc. for things we can use right away. Same here, we don’t have a house yet so it was nice to have some more quality things to jazz up our place.
We got new bedding we desperately needed and shower curtains that needed replacing. Hope this helps!! ❤️

We are moving from an apartment to a house as well. Highly Recommend Tik tok videos lol. So i wanted to update some things and get some grown up stuff. We added mostly kitchen stuff . Plates. Utensils. New vacuum /wet mop. Toaster. Pots & Pan set. Baking supplies. Host/ Serving Platters. Coffee maker. Linen spray 🤍. Pet stuff. Carpet pet rack i found on tik tok ha Blankets. Bird and Bat House. I know a bat house was weird to me as well but it helps with mosquitoes my husband says. The cake cutting utensils for the wedding. Towels. Wood Stove cover. Car cleaning stuff and some wall decor.

You can find a registry list at Bedbathandbeyond.com. Register for ugrades and matching stuff. Maybe something fun you want but wouldn't pay for yourselves.

Make sure to have a wide range of prices from $2 on up. Some will go for the expensive items and others will bundle the lower priced.

You could register for things that either you don't have that you'll need for a house, or things you want to upgrade! I suggest going room by room and figuring out what you'll need: bedding, kitchen tools/silverware/dishes/dish towels, picture frames, artwork to hang on the walls, coasters, bath towels, garbage cans, tools, small furniture (bookshelves, end tables, etc), camping gear, sports equipment, office supplies for working from home, or anything else that you could use! Search through Bed, Bath, and Beyond's website to see what things you might want, and go from there.

Really good towels and sheets. And a Le Creuset dutch oven. (Ok that’s what I want.) Kitchen-aide mixer. Nice serving utensils. Knives.

Don't be afraid to upgrade items you may currently have, but have some wear to them. I looked for things that I've wanted for myself, but decided not to spend the money. Just be sure to put items in every price point, so your list isn't all super expensive, high end stuff. Have a good mix of mid price and cheaper small items (fun kitchen tools are good for this price point).

I have friends who love to go camping, so they put a bunch of camping gear on their registry.

Cristy brings up a really good point! Having things in multiple different price ranges gives great options. Some people may prefer to buy 1-2 less expensive items, while others might choose to each chip in together towards buying one of the more expensive items.

Yes have the le creuset Dutch over and baking/pie dishes and a kitchen aid mixer. My mom has one and growing up I was always like I want one of these. She’s always told me this is a gift you’ll get for your wedding so it was the first thing I added to our registry haha and the pasta maker attachment!

Yes, I did add some lower priced items bc I know when we’ve gone to weddings in the past few years I like to buy kitchen gadgets since I’m working on a budget! And thank you! We love to camp, I wasn’t sure if that was appropriate but I’ll def look into some camping gear. There is a double hammock I’ve had saved for a while that maybe we’ll put on there and some cooking stuff/tools for camping.

I’ve had friends put camping items on their registries before! Go for it! Besides upgrades, we registered for a new luggage set, a fireproof safe for important documents, a shredder, an immersion blender, and a sound bar for our TV. I kept a list of things I wanted/needed as they came up during our first year of engagement (that’s definitely where the shredder came from). Then, I added those items to our registries.
