What did you splurge on?

Im going to splurge on our venue, being all inclusive and more expensive than we thought.

My parents are paying for the wedding, so that is an absolute blessing! We are paying for our honeymoon, and we def. splurged on it! We are going to Iceland and Ireland. In Iceland we are renting a nice car to go on roadtrips, and in Ireland we are doing some really amazing tours. I do not regret it one bit! I cannot wait!

What haven't I splurged on is the better question lol. But by far, the most unnecessary cost is the wedding cake. My dad spent an absurd amount of money on it. However, it will be beautiful and I cannot wait to see it.

It feels like everything we've paid for is a splurge. But I think we splurged by adding an extra hour to our photography, DJ, and bartender packages.

Photographer and my dress. We did get a good deal on our photographer but we still paid more than we originally agreed on but I think it'll be worth it.

Photographer. Food and cake.

Videographer and our venue but we get it the entire weekend from 5pm Friday to noon on Sunday. I’m also paying an extra $300 to get the pretty white resin chairs for our ceremony vs the ugly plastic ones our venue would provide.

The videography is definitely a splurge because it's a non-necessity.

But the venue was by far our biggest splurge. Sometimes I wish we had done something less expensive, but I don't know if I'd ever forgive myself for passing up my dream venue. Anywhere else would make me feel like I was settling.
