What did you wear for your engagement photos?

No props, just a pretty backdrop and nice outfits.

Sorry for the double comment but this is the outfits we wore for our more dressy pics

We got a little dressier and walked around town for some shots!

I wore floral & he wore a blazer, then we had a casual outfit with jeans. Photographer had this clear umbrella that was a life saver since it decided to rain the entire time

We took ours in Michigan in early fall. So we went with a summery look and fall look

I love them all!!! I'm leaning toward finding a maxi dress, they all look so beautiful!!!!

We had 2 outfits in 2 locations. We dressed a little nicer for the first shots, but the prop (just a block with our date on it) didn't end up in any of the good photos.

Then we went full nerd with comic books and manga books at a local coffee shop. We chose this one for our STDs.

We just had one outfit each. FH wore a black polo and his favorite pants, & I wore a black dress with roses on it.

As for props, we had a sign with FH last name and we had a wooden "&"

We did three outfits. A more holiday one for our save the dates and Christmas cards. We also posed with our dog in this one and had a "My humans are getting married sign". A somewhat more dressy one, but we aren't very formal people, so still not super dressy. Finally a very casual one with a plain black dress and him in tech shorts and a band tshirt, we got in the spring with this one too.

@Kristin I literally just asked my fh last night if we could just have our photographer come to the apartment and take pics of us with our cats haha. I'm having a hard time deciding on a location that feels "us" (our photog sent us a bunch of outdoor/woodsy locations but we aren't into hiking or anything so I don't know why we would go there), and I have no idea what to wear. I figure we spend 90% of our free time at home with the cats in our sweatpants...that's an acceptable photo op, right?

This thread is giving me hope- everyone looks amazing!

@Ashely, @leighanna, forever 21! They have some really cool clothes that are great for shoots!

I wanted to add this photo too, it shows the interesting shoes I paired with the skirt. They were heels that laced up the legs like pointe ballet shoes!

We had this sign made with our wedding date. We made sure to incorporate all of our wedding colors into our outfits/prop. Maroon, navy blue, gold. I don't like this photo, but it is the best view of the prop!
