What did your open bar cost? 100 guests

Western NY, Buffalo. $24 per person full open bar for 4 hours, about 85-95 people are invited but we aren't sure how many will come in the end. It's about $1600-$1700 total.

3 hour reception, estimating just over 100 guests. The venue charges $50 pp for beer/wine or $60 pp for open bar. That’s $5k+ for just beer and wine! We are considering taking our chances with a consumption bar?

We are also estimating about 100 guests, our open bar was an additional $20 per head which is very reasonable.

My open bar (top shelf)came with my package when I booked my venue and I have 100 guests. Check with your venue. They should be able to tell you how much open bar is for your wedding. If you set a budget, you can go from there and see where it leads you. You can determine if you are going to stick to your budget or go a little hire.

Hi, depending where you live. We are in unfortunately NJ and the price per plate with open bar is costing my daughter and new son $160. They shopped around for a venue and went to several food tastings. They will be married November 1, 2019. They have invited 90 guests and it will run them about $14000 after all the fees for the venue only. Then add in band or DJ, photographers, decor and flowers and etc.
