What didn't you like about your wedding?

Hi everyone,



I got to get married to the love of my life and would love to turn back time just to relive that day.
That being said, there is something I am very sad about and I don't know what to do with it. I love dancing. I live in New York and everything is clozedm I got married in a country where everything is open and dancing was something I was looking forward to.
I made a playlist that I know would be a hit. I know my guests and I know me.
The DJ played maybe 5 of my songs all night. He was playing WEIRD songs. No hits. Just didn't move people. He did a dj routine for maybe 30 minutes in which he gets peope jumping so those were the only 30 minutes where I felt I had fun. I enjoyed seeing everyone and talking to them, but you don't know how excited I was about my playlist. People started leaving after cake, I blame him.
What am I to do with this now that the moment has passed and I already paid?

    Yes, my dream wedding was to marry in the mountains. My FH and many of our loved ones refuse to fly during this pandemic.

    We postponed and aren’t married yet. However, I just read another post by a bride who’s seeking assistance with a playlist. So maybe you can assist her and find some comfort in knowing that your plalist can still go to good use 😊

    I'm latin american so I don't know if our tastes will be similar🙈but I requested backstreet boys, wannabe by spice girls and September for the USA guests ...which he did not play but I came up to him to remind him

    Hi Kimberly! Believe me, no wedding is perfect. The way I look at it, something will go not as planned, however, as long as the big things go right, all that counts! Sounds like overall your wedding was a success!!
    I know this is small to others, but for my wedding I paid extra for candles to give that glow. They never got lit. I know it seems small but it annoys me. To put it in perspective though, if something had to go wrong I’m really glad it was that and not people getting covid at my wedding or having a vendor not show up. Hope this helps ❤️❤️❤️

    The candle thing is not small to me. You had that ambiance in mind and went out of your way to pay for it so you are right to have it bother you.

    Aww. I understand being bummed. That's a totally legitimate thing to be upset about!

    The primary things that went "wrong" with my wedding were that my personal florals looked absolutely nothing like the samples I sent/what I said I wanted AND I wish I went with my gut to hire a day of coordinator to make my wedding run smoothly and suggest ideas I hadn't thought of.

    At the end of the day, you got to marry your best friend and that's amazing. It's totally normal to be disappointed about things that go wrong, as long as you don't obsess over them and let them ruin your memories of an otherwise happy day!

    Mine was that I didn’t get as many of the photos as I had wanted cause of time. I got really nice photos though but there were some poses I wish I gotten

    I totally understand this one. I have no wedding cake picture for some reason. My husband seemed concerned about something and walked away as we were about to take them. He doesn't remember why he did that. I assume to say bye to someone. We also were supposed to have sparkler pictures and ...we forgot.
