What do you love most about weddings?

Megan I like the toasts too! Granted I've never seen a drunken or inappropriate one, so that could maybe change my mind. I also love watching the first dance.

I've heard a lot of people dislike it, but I really enjoy when we clink the glass so the couples have to kiss! And when the bride cries when dancing with her dad/uncle/mother/adult role model.

I love see the look on the faces of the married couples. For some of them you can tell they are remembering their own wedding day. I also love to see them dancing. You can just feel the "married" love.

I love the ceremony; the first glimpse of the bride, the vows, the grooms face when he sees the bride. But I also love cocktail hour! I love me some small passed food!

I love when the bride makes her entrance and walks down the aisle. I love when they are first introduced as "Mr. and Mrs." to the audience. I love to see a bride and groom enjoying their reception--dancing and laughing and celebrating with everyone!

The personal details the bride or groom puts in!!

When the bride and groom recite vows they wrote for each other not just the traditional ones.

I love the genuine happiness you see on most bride and grooms faces (I went to some where the bride just looked stressed and terrified and that's never good).

I like seeing what the dress and decor will be and getting ideas for my own, which I guess after September won't really be relevant anymore.

I just really like having an excuse to go out and drink and dance which I hardly ever do anymore.

The bride, groom, seeing the wedding party members walk down the aisle. Always a joy to see the flower girl and ring bearer as well. And the decorations.

The cake

I really enjoy the ceremony, I always cry, but I really look forward to the party! Everything about receptions is so fun! I love being with all my friends and family and celebrating LOVE, oh and drinking too

I get to hang out with the guys before the ceremony. Usually the best man has a good sense of humor (maybe that's why the groom chose him?).

I watch the groom when he catches his first glimpse of the bride coming. Most try to pretend that they aren't tearing up (sun/sand got in my eyes).

Sometimes the groom, sometimes the bride, will be a "rocker" swaying back & forth and I have to put a hand on them to make them hold still.

I'm usually the only other person who can hear him whisper "You're beautiful" or her whisper "I love you."

I can see the parents in the front row getting all misty-eyed and the MOH discreetly passing a hanky to the bride.

When they just can't stop themselves from kissing before I say, "You may now kiss!"

I love seeing the love shared between the bride and the groom during the ceremony.

The actual 'I dos' especially when they are the standard ones not personal ones - think it is the fact it is the same words said by thousands and thousands of other.

Apart from that seeing people you don't see a lot.
