What do you think

So I’m rather shy but obviously I have to walk down the aisle but I was thinking about the grand entrance what’s a creative way to just join your reception without the spot light

Well, I think people will cheer for you no matter what, but what you could do to make a smoother/faster transition is walk into the room and go straight into your first dance? That way you have your partner to help you through the tougher times for you Smiley smile

After your ceremony the officiant will pronounce you anyway, take your photos, let everyone mingle and while minglings going on you guys and the wedding party come in get seated. Then have the mc announce guests to sit, you guys stand right at your dinner table and smile and do your thank you's.

I am the same! Super shy!!! We plan on doing our grand entrance and walking right into our first dance. I am even nervous about that so we are thinking of dancing alone first half of song and then inviting couples to join us.

Hey there, Jaime! If you're really shy, I like the idea of having the entrance and going straight into your first dance to have it done so you can then relax and enjoy the rest of the reception. Do you think this would work for you?
