The green was one of FH's first requests for the wedding (it's our main color). I was originally going for a romantic, vintage feel since we're getting married at a Victorian mansion, but it's slowly evolved to adding Art Deco elements throughout, with the geometrics making their way into it too! Hopefully it all ties together on the day of like it is in my head!

We got our invitations from Minted. They are just about the only formal (non-diy) thing we're doing for the wedding.

Wedding invitations

We're going with this design but we're changing the colors to match out wedding colors. The background will be light purple and the flowers will be light pink

These were ours. We were going for a soft romantic feel....I really hope that came across. I loved that the RSVP card (not pictured) had a different shade of green envelope.

View Quoted Comment Our theme is kind of Art Deco meets modern industrial. Our venue is a 1920’s Ballroom and my fiancé really wanted to wear a white suit jacket so that helped guide our theme. We didn’t want to go full vintage though and the gold geometrics kind of tie both design elements together.

Here’s ours. We got them from Shutterfly. We absolutely love them!!!

We got digital files from Etsy, edited in our info and then had them printed online. Also got our envelopes online. The STD cards were rustic and really fit in with our BBQ theme on the day after the wedding. Our invitations, I felt were really in line with the Italian Bistro where we had our wedding reception. The things tying in both pieces, which were pretty different were the string lights and baby’s breath. We had mason jars with baby’s breath in each table. It was a really economical way to do invitations. The last picture was the reception card that we included. The invitation is the actual picture from Etsy so those aren’t are names
