What does "Wishing Well" mean on a bridal shower invite? (NY / CT area)

I think I've seen this discussion before, but I'm not sure what the answer is. I got an invite for a bridal shower today that says, "Bride is registered at Macy's and Pottery Barn" and then under that it says *Wishing Well*. Does this mean cash or small gadgets? Is it in addition to the shower gift?...

In New York, NJ, PA and MA, in my experience the wishing well is a basket or hamper decorated to look like a wishing well and is filled with little extras, like things you need in the kitchen, salt, sponges, napkins, brillo, etc. It is so the new couple will be able to function in their new home without running to the store. I have never seen one that asked for money.

In NYC area it means a small, unwrapped item. Some people give kitchen items. I happen to have a friend who makes candles That was my WE gift. My regular gift was off the registry.
