What excites you the most about being married?

To be called husband and wife. We already live together and own together. We both want kids right away too. There is so much to look forward to.

Being husband and wife, starting a family

Being married with the last name title & coming home to my hubby every night

Not being in a long distance relationship anymore

Finally not feeling embarrassed to live with him before marriage (which I totally love and don't regret but feel uncomfortable telling others we do).

The permanency of being married.

Thinking about and dreaming about the next big steps together.

Calling him mine, forever

I can't wait to promise to keep growing up together. We were each other's senior prom dates and we've been supporting each other through college and new careers. I can't wait to call him my husband and hopefully one day make him a dad.

For me is finally becoming his wife and creating a loving family life together. I feel he is the male version of me. Lol waaayyy too much in common. Finally ill be a Mrs. The only one in my age group of all the people growing up with at the church, that hasnt been married. Also, being able to say my husband and not feel like I have to hold back on giving love, giving it to my forever love. I can't wait.

This post makes me smile, somewhat related anecdote: we got married in October and in December DH had a work Christmas party. I was really excited to hear him introduce me to his co-workers as "his wife" as I had not heard him say that before......by the time I actually got to meet some new people he had a few drinks in him and kept introducing me with, "this is my Sam." I was like, come on. Hahaha. Yeah not much has changed I looked forward to a tax break but due to student loans we filed separately, but I look forward to a house soon!

I'm super excited to have a permanent team mate. It's actually taken some getting used to for me, even just dating and now being engaged, because I was single for SO LONG before he came alone. I made my own decisions and relied only on me... I was always very independent and didn't mind being single at all, but I can't get enough of having someone in my life who is ALWAYS going to be there for me to bounce ideas off of, vent to, cry on, etc. Even silly stuff like having someone to do the driving when I know traffic will suck is awesome!

And, likewise, I absolutely love being there for him. Nothing makes me happier than to listen to him talk about his job and his family and his friends; and when he asks me for advice? Fuhghettaboutit! I'm smitten.

@Alison I was the same way. It took me a while to start to lean on him. I was used to doing my own thing for so long. Now I can't wait to spend my life being part of this amazing team. I never wanted to get married or have kids until I met FH and now I can't wait to start a family with him

Being done planning for a wedding- that was the best part about being married.

Otherwise nothing has changed.

Living together as H and W. We don't live together now because of logistical reasons with our jobs. After the wedding we will be moving in together and getting a place which works better geographically.

I'm looking forward to cooking and having dinner with him as much as possible.

FH and I have lived together for 3 years so not a whole lot is going to change besides my last name and our titles. I am excited to call him my husband and get to wear my full wedding set (I just got my wedding band today). I am also super excited to start our family we are waiting until after we get married to have children. I'm excited about the wedding itself. My dress, my family being there, and most of all celebrating our love for one another. He's the best thing that's ever happened to me. I probably don't tell him that enough. I'm also excited to purchase a house with him.

I think just having him as my husband like, it's a different feeling it's hard to describe
