What flavor is/was your wedding cake?

We have three cakes. The main cake will be cookies and cream two tier chocolate two tier vanilla not sure what flavor buttercream we went with my guess is chocolate. (It's not finalized yet) Gluten free cake chocolate with raspberries and a raspberry buttercream. The grooms cake will be chocolate with coffee buttercream.

We are having two flavors; almond cake with raspberry jam and spice cake with apricot jam. It was sooooo good! Plus the spice cake just screamed autumn haha.

We did lemon with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting! It was soooooo good.

Ours was chocolate with white icing. From the same bakery that my family has gotten every cake from for at least 45 years. The bakery has been in business for more than 100 years.

The cake we cut was vanilla with buttercream frosting. We also had mini bundt cakes in red velvet, lemon, cinnamon and chocolate.

Ours is three tiers and each is a different flavor. Bottom is vanilla with berry filling, middle is chocolate mousse, top is coconut passion fruit or something lol

This post is literally making my mouth water. I can't wait for our tasting! Has anyone had a lavender or floral cake or icing before? Our baker has that as an option and I'm so curious!!!

We're doing a Sachertorte (chocolate with apricot/raspberry jam), covered with dark chocolate ganache.

Marble on bottom chocolate on 2nd and plain vanilla on top

We are doing two cake flavors - tres leches with salted caramel buttercream, and pink champagne with a raspberry cream mousse. They were both amazing and both very much "fit" us each individually...and I guess our cake theme is beverages, haha.

We plan to have 3 layers. Red velvet, chocolate and white cake

Haven't decided on our cake yet, but we are doing bunditinis from nothing bundt cakes for our guests.

Ours will be red velvet and cream cheese buttercream icing for the brides cake and regular yellow cake with buttercream for grooms cake! We are so excited!

Bottom tier & top tier will be orange cake with chocolate ganache filling and middle tier will be almond genoise with chocolate bavarian mousse filling. All with buttercream frosting

Mine was tres leches but it tasted like vanilla....

Our top tier was triple chocolate, the middle was cookies and cream and the bottom was strawberry champagne! It was so good!

I would love to try all the interesting flavor combinations that you all have. I ordered our cake on my own without my dh since it was basically an extra pretty birthday cake (only 6 people). And his only comment when I came home was to say I hope you didn't order some crazy flavor that I'm not going to like. No I ordered chocolate cake with white icing because I know that it's his favorite.
