What has been the most difficult part of wedding planning?

Pretty self-explanatory haha What have you found to be most difficult as you plan your wedding?

Doing it from far away. My wedding is in Georgia while I am in Chicago. That's been the worst part to me.

Keeping track of everything. I have spreadsheets, folders within folders on my computer, folders in my email, etc.. It's organized, but I still feel like it's a hot mess of information.

This is going to sound silly but table and centerpiece design! I have changed my mind a billion times and less than 3 months out still up in the air!

So far it was dealing with the Church. They have some older people that volunteer in the office and they messed up pour date, names and parish a couple of times. FH's grandma finally sorted it out for us but man it was annoying. I think dress shopping will be stressful, I don't really like wedding dresses so it will be hard to find one

The guest list. This has been the thing that we get the most grief about from family. Some people don't seem to understand we aren't having kids there and that since they aren't paying they don't get a say. We are also trying to keep the wedding as small as possible but we have cut the list down and much as we can and now we're at the point that to cut more people would mean not inviting people that we would really like to have there. So we are trying to budget for more people than we originally planned on.

Kristin same here... my dad has 7 brothers and sisters... they're not close though. Two aunts I talk to nearly every week... I'm at a loss as what to do. I want small, not huge.

@Ariel that has been the most difficult for me too. My FH and I are both from Georgia, but he lives in Virginia for work and I have been in Texas for school. But since I will be in GA for Law school, now it's balancing school with the wedding planning.

Finding affordable flowers. My sister finally found the bridesmaids bouquets on a yard sale page for $30, they were kinda small but there were 10 and I have 5 bridesmaids, so I combined them and rewrapped the stems. I bought mine off of etsy for a decent price.

I figure if flowers are my biggest issue than my wedding planning has been pretty smooth, and we are 11 days away from saying "I do!"

So far finding an officiant (specifically a Jewish one who does interfaith weddings). One we talked to was available but didn't like. One we like a lot but she isn't available. Smiley sad

I'm with you, @lauren! I change my mind daily about centerpieces. It's so silly because in the grand scheme of things, it really doesn't matter. I need to figure it out fast though!

Planning site unseen (having a destination wedding), and trying to put together a cohesive look/feel for everything. Not to mention being incredibly impatient haha! But I am working hard at trying to savor the good moments of having a longer engagement!

I'm still in the beginning process of planning but thus far it's been the dress. The dresses I fall in love with are either so far out of my budget it's a joke or they aren't sold anywhere around me.

I'm also trying to lose weight so I'm contemplating how much I can put off purchasing a dress before it's too late and I'm stuck with something I hate.

I can sum it all up into one word, people. It's been crazy ever since I picked my bridal party. Everything from my family to my bridesmaids.

ETA: I should add that there has been a lot of drama. Started with my mom guilting me into adding my sisters and continued with my three best friends hating each other. It's just been very drama laden.

Guest list/invites so far. We printed and out together invites ourselves to save money and it was pretty stressful along with working in gathering all the addresses. We still have some to get!
