I was watching some episodes of "Rich Bride/Poor Bride" and I was wondering if many couples act that way in real life. Specifically I find it so disturbing the way so many women on there spend money and lie to their FH about. I hope that most of it is being played up for TV but I really wonder if maybe that is the norm for most couples? They do stuff like say their dress was $500 when it was really $2,000 or book performers for $1,000 and "forget" to mention it to the groom. I could not imagine spending that kind of money and not including my partner in the decision, and worse LYING about it! Seems like a backwards way to enter into a union to me. Anyone else feel this way watching the show?
