I asked me venue what size easel they have she said standard size. Not sure what that is.

I'm not sure. I would ask for clarification or give them the size of whatever you need sitting on the easel to make sure it will work.

That is a strange response since there are table easels and floor easels. Definitely get clarification and get the dimensions.

I think a standard would hold an 18x24 item on it but I’ve never heard an easel referred to as standard

Hey there!! As the pps mentioned, I would definitely clarify this with your venue!! You definitely don’t want a welcome sign that’s way too big or way too small!!
