What is that "little thing" your spouse does?

I love this question. We can take so much for granted it's nice to stop and appreciate the little things. My husband gets up for work earlier than me so he makes the coffee when he gets up. But what I really appreciate is that he brings me a cup in bed to wake me up. I also appreciate that he does things for my family without hesitation or question because he loves them as much as he does his own family.

DH makes me breakfast most days and packs a lunch for me for work . . . even though I normally come home for lunch. He generally packs enough for me to feed myself and all my coworkers, so I have plenty to snack on

I had a coworker who used to call them my "adult school lunches" because Rob would pack (just an example) three juice pouches, a bag of chips, a sandwich, a container of fruit, a container of vegetables, veggie dip, some sort of other snack, and a dessert (or three).

He cleans. Like, everything. Even while I'm cooking he cleans what I am using. It's sweet, and annoying at the same time. ROFLMAO Looking for the spatula to use again and he's washing it. But seriously, he is a Type A personality and gets a huge charge out of things neat, orderly and clean. He LIKES cleaning. I pretty much hit the jackpot this time around.

Before we were engaged, my husband would hold my hand and rub his thumb on my ring finger to tell me that there will be a ring there someday.


After getting engaged, he asked me every morning we were together “Do you promise to love me forever and ever?” and put the engagement ring on my finger.
We’ve been married for a year and a half and he still asks the same question every single day before putting my wedding band on. Sometimes I’m barely awake, but it’s the best way to wake up.

When he just naturally massages my feet or other parts after i've had a long day. like he just knows that it'll soothe me without asking

Cece, like you, I am addicted to the bean water and my fiance is such a sweetheart - he knows going to get coffee is the first thing I'm thinking of in the morning and sometimes he makes it for me just the way I like it, other times he finds me good places! This Christmas he bought me a coffee bean subscription where you get a different coffee every month!

He also always - always - carries the groceries in after we shop and won't let me help. I'm so grateful for him. He's the best.

He just did this last night, and I totally made a mental note about how much I appreciate it; especially since I absolutely detest carrying in groceries! I recently moved in with him, and the city I moved away from had grocery delivery service where they would deliver and bring your groceries into the home for you. Where we live now doesn’t have this service, so I am extra appreciative that he will do this without complain

Hi ! It might sound silly, but we have something that's really cute... My husband sends me every day a photo or a video of a ... kitten . We both love cats and it became our rituel.
