What is the average price of a suit/tux rental, and how long does the process take?

Uh, yeah they should be since it's wedding season and these places get busy fast.

My dad ordered his from the store about a month before the wedding, but we had the style and colours picked out. He just had to get measured for it.

Ours cost about $160 for the guys to rent. That included the shirt, vest, tie, pocket square, pants and jacket. They were allowed to have them for 5 days. But that was from an independent shop.

The GM purchased their suits (for $138 incl tax, $10-40 for alterations) in the JosABank buy 1, get 3 sale.

They wore their own black dress shoes. We supplied the shirts and ties (~$75 per GM).

It took 6 weeks for all the suits to come in once ordered (incl the 2 weeks it took to exchange 1 that was wrong). And 2 weeks for alterations.

Songbird: So they actually let you do that buy 1, get 3 sale for the suits? I went in there and tried to ask about that, and just wanted a normal, navy suit, but the sales guy REFUSED to show me anything but the most expensive suit in the store. He said that they just happened to not have anything else to show me.

Edit: Also, FH is in a wedding in August and the tux rental is $250...not including anything.

Our guys rented their suits for 200 bucks each.

FH bought the same for 500.

our wedding is 9/27...the guys ordered them in May and will pick them up the day before the wedding.

We went with a local shop and rented grey tuxes for the groomsmen. I attached a picture of what we're getting. They came out to ~$70.

He told us to order asap since a lot of our groomsmen are on the bigger side, just to make sure the sizes were available.

We're 4 months out and went over the weekend to pick them out and get them ordered. The lady told us our timing was perfect. FH's tux is around $200 and the grooms men's are going to be $150ish.

Ahh I am having anxiety and I'm not even the bride of the wedding!
