@Fatima M. - My Step-dad and my Dad are both equal in my life that's why I'm having a dance with both of them, as well as having them both walk me down the aisle. I just talked to them and explained what would be important to me and what I wanted for my day and they listened. I also let them pick out their own songs.

I dunno. I planned on butterfly kisses because that song is one of my dad's favorites, but I think I will listen to your choices as well cuz I would prefer not to be bawling and he always cries to that song which will make me cry lol. But then, with him that's probably inevitable...

Kenny Chesney "There goes my life" ... it's been our song since the song came out. I was a *surprise* to my parents when they were younger. He's already made it pretty clear that the song won't be changed lol

The way you look tonight by Frank Sinatra. It's a classic and you don't hear it very often.

No final decision yet, but my current contenders are:

    Cinderella by Stephen Curtis Chapman

Father & Daughter by Paul Simon

Kind & Generous by Natalie Merchant

Uhhh here is my problem.....hard headed dad. I have asked him about 4 times that we need to figure it out. He says he doesn't dance...then jokes and says I can do the twist. Fh and I r going to take lessons and I offered my dad to do it and he says he aont paying to go to dance lessons, how hard is it to shuffle your feet! Uhhhhhh grrrrr and I might add my mom says they have only danced 2 times in 37 years

I loved her first by Heartland. Ever since song came out before I was ever engaged, I told my mom i would use it for my wedding, and she bawled, and then not that long ago, she was looking through my wedding planning folder at my list of songs, and saw that I wrote that for the song, and rememberd that i said that, and og course she started bawling. My dad has no idea though. he'll be suprised.

Since I was a little girl, before I even met FH, I have said Butterfly Kisses was going to be my father/daughter dance song.

Technicially stepdad, but more dad... Brad Paisley's He Didn't Have to be... I plan to surprise him and not spill the beans on the song choice ahead of the actual dancing.

I love Brown Eyed Girl for those girls dancing to that song!
