Neither my dad or myself are really into country music but he said that he heard this song at work and it reminded him of me so he burned it on a disc and sent it to me. I couldn't think of using any other song.

It's Tim Mcgraw- My Little Girl

This is a link to the video of the song "You're My Hero" which I'm using for my father daughter dance. What's different about this song is that it's from a daughter to her dad expressing her love and gratitude for having him as her father. You can then purchase the song at www.weddingmusiccentral.com.

@ Melissa W.- I was thinking about doing Brad Paisley's He Didn't Have to be as well but my two youngest siblings don't know that my stepdad isn't my bio-dad and my parents don't want them to know so I started over on my song search.

Fatima I'm in the same situation, I have a Dad and a Step-Dad, my Step-Dad is who I consider my "Dad" and my real father, I can barely stand my biological father. My bio-father isn't contributing to the wedding at all, my parents are. But due to family relations I need to dance with both of them. I am trying to dance with my bio-dad first (trying to find a short song that is not sappy) and then my fiance can dance with his mom half way through, then later I can dance with my Step-Dad...this way guests don't need to endure 3 songs in a row and each has their own moment. But finding the songs is tough and dreading the awkward moment is tough. How did you handle it?
