What is your first dance song?

Nothing Can Change This Love by Sam Cooke. I had a playlist on Spotify of possible songs and was listening to it while making dinner one night (there were about 4 Sam Cooke songs...love him!) and FH walked into the kitchen and was like "this is a great song!" Decision made!

D&d!!!! That was the one we were going to use until FH suggests the dmb song!

Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran. I made a playlist of songs I liked then FH and I danced to all of them and that was the one he liked best. He totally had that moment where you can picture the wedding day - almost like brides have with their dresses! It was so funny because he thought the song was too cheesy until we actually danced to it.

We are stuck between Wonderwall by Oasis (this is our song) but we really love our country and the words for Cross My Heart by George Straight. -- Mr. George is in the lead so far

Our song was "I Found My Everything" by Mary J. Blige.

Ours is "The Luckiest" by Ben Folds. FH had sent that song to me about a month into us dating and said it made him think of me and has been our song ever since!

It's between DMB-Crush and Jack Johnson- Better Together.

Groovy Kind of Love by Phil Collins. I can remember listening to that song when I was you guys and thinking how cool it would be to dance with my husband to it one day. I've always maintained that idea, and FH loves the song!

Our song is "Stand By Me" by Prince Royce. We chose it because it was an upbeat song (bachata) and in Spanish/English. Therefore it brings both of our cultures together and both families will understand different portions of the lyrics!

It hasn't been decided yet, but I'm really pulling for

"How Long Will I Love You?" - from the About Time soundtrack. It's not too long ,only 2:48, which I think is good. Sometimes when the songs are long, it gets a bit awkward watching only 2 people on the dance floor, but also, my FH is very shy and doesn't like to be the center of attention.

Ever the Same, acoustic version, Rob Thomas.

I went to a Rob Thomas concert shortly after we started dating, and Rob sang this version. I recorded it on my phone and played it for FH, as he is also a big Matchbox 20 fan. A few months later, he found this version on the jukebox at the bar we were at and played it. The people we were with were leaving, and FH assured me it would not play while we walked them outside and said good-bye. Sure enough, the song was just ending as we walked back inside. When we got back to my home later, he was in the bathroom for a while, and fiddling with his phone a lot when he finally came out. We laid down for bed, and this version started playing from his phone as he told me he loved me for the very first time.

Thus, first dance song was a total no-brainer for us.

Fade to black- apocalyptica. It's a metalica cover done by cellos. Our last dance will be so far away by avenged sevenfold.

We are doing our first dance to Hey Pretty Girl by Kip Moore. It's gonna make me ugly cry.
