We are just doing one processional song for everyone to walk down the aisle with since it will be too difficult to try and change up the songs while people are walking out.

Do people assign specific songs to different parts of the processional? I know it's usually one for the groom and BP, then one for the bride. I feel like switching between songs for every other person would give a really disjointed feel to the whole thing...

You don't really need one for each individual part of the processional. I mean, we're doing a Disney medley where our family walks to You'll Be in My Heart, the bridal party escorted by groomsmen walk to Can You Feel the Love to Night and then I'll either walk to I See the Light or Part of Your World (reprise) but it's cut and blended so it's just one song. Any more than that sounds like a headache, and you could easily do it with less.

FH and I are also opting to only use one song for the entire processional. I didn't realize people switch songs for each part.

She doesn't need a song. She will come down to the same song that the BM's do.

Switching songs too much will sound choppy.

I'm using the same song for everyone but me. I thought that was the norm?

I used the same song for her as I did my MOH. Largo by Handel.

I will admit I was pretty confused by this topic. Flower girl song? But then my hangover went away and i get it. I have never heard of the flower girl getting her own song to walk to. There is a song for the bridal party and then a song for the bride.

My parents and grandparents are walking down and being seated to "For the Beauty of the Earth" piano version by Chris Rice. The bridesmaids, flower girl, and myself will walk down to "Pachelbel Meets U2" by Jon Schmidt.

Same here. It's just going to be our three girls walking out before us, then me, then my husband. Wanted a very short song for when the girls walk out then, the non traditional song and "walkout/stroll" between him and I. We're trying to making it fun and different.
