What is your splurge item regarding your wedding budget

My dress was definitely a huge splurge I hadn’t planned on! Food and bar was definitely the biggest splurge though.

Photo and video. We live near NYC so all these vendors are very expensive, and I saw so many wedding videographers that were cheap-looking and I wasn't happy with them, so I decided to pick a more expensive one

Food and bar, I wanted a brunch with just minimum alcohol choices but it was important to my fiancé that we have a good meal and alcohol choices so we splurged on that since we aren’t having a DJ and cutting costs elsewhere

i upped my budget so i can have better food and then even when i did that i still upgraded the menu

Photographer and hiring my mom’s two friends and wedding coordinators/decorators were my biggest splurges. No regrets. My mom’s friends made my suburban backyard into a beautiful wedding venue which I could not have done alone!

Photo and video for sure! And then FH wedding band is a splurge since I’m getting him exactly what he wants even though it’s more than I hoped.

Flowers by far! My husband was sticker shocked but he knew it really mattered to me.

Did you get to have a tasting yet? I bet it's gonna be delicious! I come from a large Greek family and food was a must when it came to budget.

I bet he really appreciates it tho! Being the bride it's easy to forget that the FH have thoughts and wishes for the wedding day too. The band is going to knock your socks off, and the photos will be perfect! Congrats

My mom owns a floral business and to have her do our wedding was very important to me as well. I'm glad your floral and greenery dreams are coming true.

My splurge item was my outfit. I think it was the most expensive part of the wedding.

Food food and more food lol. We’ve been to a few weddings where the food wasn’t that appetizing and we were still hungry after. So we knew we were going to be splurging on food.

Honestly it's a little bit of everything. I worked in the industry in my town for several years, and knew who the best vendors were because I'd worked with them and wanted to work with them for my own wedding. So, we're going a little all out because of that.

Venue and food are the most expensive, but if I had to say a true splurge it would be my dress because I spent almost double what I was really planning to.

I'm in the industry too! I know exactly what you mean, I already knew who I wanted as our vendors when we started planning. Venue and Food played a big part of our budget but ultimately photographers were the biggest.
