What is your wedding style?

What colors and other elements led you toward what you and fiancé ultimately chose? Are you doing vibrant spring colors in a local outdoor setting? Or moody colors in a warehouse?

We are doing black and cream. We are getting married at a ballroom in the winter. I wanted to keep it classic and glamorous.

I think our style is laid back. Our date is August 6th, wedding and ceremony is in the same venue. Once the ceremony is over, the wedding party and photographer go to a local park for pictures (while we are gone, tables will be set up for the reception). Our colors are a little bit of summer and a little bit of fall: lilac, dusty blue, apple red.

At first we wanted a fall themed wedding but now it’s more of a rustic barn wedding (our ceremony will be outside in a beautiful garden and our reception will be in the barn right next to it) and we will incorporate some white pumpkins in our decor. Our colors are rust and gold! 🤗

We now live in Florida. We are both big beach/bay lovers. Originally I wanted a beach wedding, but the love of my life was like, ew, sand. LOLOL SO, when looking for venues, some type of water view was pretty much a must in my book. Luckily, being on the Gulf coast, we had a lot to choose from. We found a Yacht Club that has a beautiful covered patio on the water - so we can have an outdoor water view wedding ceremony without the sand and weather worries! This same venue has a large even room with floor to ceiling windows that again show off the water views. Win - win for me. Our colors are "beachy" - turquois, tan and accents of peach.

Our style is romantic, elegant, and dramatic. We’re having a church wedding with lots of tradition and sentimentality, my dress has a gorgeous train, my veil is cathedral length, and our colors are deep teal, mulberry, and silver (kind of a jewel tone palette). Our reception has a great view of the downtown skyline, and I want to have lots of candles, florals, and bold pops of color.

Its 3 reason why we chose this because 1. I have always like these colors together yellow and grey 2. Is that it was our daughter's prom colors and they both were handsome man which her father my fiancee and beautiful our daughter the last 3. Grey means for us that it is grey clouds which we have been thru alot and the Yellow is bright sunny future ahead

We're going for artistic, celestial vibes-- not necessarily celestial "themed", just some stars/moon imagery sprinkled in with metallics and moody jewel tones. I'm an artist and my FW is an aerospace engineer, so we meshed the two together. We're also completely excluding white from the color palette, which has surprisingly ruffled some feathers with my future family-in-law!
