What is/was your first dance song and why?

Ours is Pride & Joy by Stevie Ray Vaughan.

a little up beat but, it's the one song that actually means anything to FH and I.

We already know how to spin to it, so we're going with it.

Ours is A Thousand Years by Christina Perri. It fits us because we've been together for a long time . Also this may be corny but we are also Twilight fans. Hehe.

My FH picked it, Whatever You Want by Tony, Toni, Tone. The title speaks for itself!

"Never Knew I Needed" by Ne-Yo from The Princess and the Frog. It was the very first movie we ever watched together on our first "real" date.

I Cross My Heart - George Strait

We watched Pure Country (the song is on the soundtrack) on our second date and we just love the song. And it's not too long!

When I Found Love by BeBe Winans. We were looking for a new first song (our wedding's first dance song was At Last) and I was looking at videos to get ideas of vow renewals and I kept hearing this song. I played the video for hubby as a contender and he said "That's it. We don't need to keep looking." Every time I hear the words I get choked up.

Dance Me to the End of Love by Leonard Cohen. NotFroofy and I are 15 years apart, so much of the music I like seems too old to her, but this was one we both liked. The spirit is kind of like The Beatles' When I'm 64, but that doesn't work at all when you're already 56. LOL

God Gave Me You by Blake Shelton, FH picked it because he says it is truly how he feels

We picked it because FH sent it to me about a year ago and said he always thinks of me when he hears it (and he's not a romantic guy so that was a big deal!)

Acoustic version of Foo Fighters' Everlong because we both thought it's a romantic song and the video is awesome (lol)

"Promise", sung by Kelly Coiffey. It's a song composed for Epcot at Disney World. They play it after the fireworks show concludes every night. FH and I love to go to Disney, Epcot is our favorite park, and one night we just started dancing to the song. We listened to the lyrics and realized it was a perfect wedding song.

Can't help falling in love-sang by Ingrid Michaelson. We wanted a more classic song with a modern feel It's a super sweet song and I can't wait to dance with my FH to it!

Jesska, that's our song too! We wanted Fly Me To The Moon, but it's too fast, and we don't have time for dancing lessons.

"Here and Now" by Luther Vandross, because it's been our song ever since we've been together.

"The Truth Is" by Go Radio. We both love the band. I loved them first and I brought him to a show of theirs and he started listening to them and now loves them. Also the song is incredibly fitting for a first dance song.
