What made your fiancé(e) enter a league of their own?

My FH allows me to be myself. I didn't have to change or feel like I had to behave a certain way to catch is attention. He wanted to pile the layers back and see me for me.

OMG!! This is one of the sweetest things! It's so nice having someone that you can be yourself with!

I think it was just his whole personality. The way he meshes with me so well, and helps and pushes me to be a better woman for myself and us as a family.
He appreciates and cares for me in a way I have never experienced before. I’m so grateful to have such a one in a trillion man.
The little things like how he opens my car door for me all the time or he buys me a chocolate bar if he’s at the store...to the times we’ve laughed so hard we cried because our stomachs hurt and we could not breathe...the times he’s uplifted me to believe in myself and go for what I want.... I hope that I can do so much and more for him in our life together.

I have a very weird and different kind of personality and was always worried about ending up with someone too "normal". My FH was the first guy I met that I really clicked with and never once felt afraid to be myself and visa versa! He's the sweetest, funniest and most caring man I've ever met!

There are plenty of moments i remember falling in love with him, but since we are on the topic of sports,

I remember having a conversation early on where he told me he was a Patriots fan and why, and I talked about how i don't (didn't now lol) watch or know football, but always wanted to be a "sports wife" hosting game parties and starting fantasy football leagues at my house.

I knew we would get along great

I only agreed to date him so he would stop trying. We had been friends for a while and I didn’t want to lose that friendship, nor did I think we would work. I told him that it was either going to work really well or be catastrophic, and I would have lost the bet on that one! This is probably the least romantic story, but it’s perfect for us.

He was so funny .... he and I share the same sense on humor.... so that is the best we r always making each other laugh ....other guys just dont get me the way my FH does.

We were friends for over a year before we started dating. I'm 12 years older and was (one of) her supervisor(s) at camp when we first met but she wasnt intimidated and was more than happy to help me and teach me things too. I'm from the mountains and didnt know much about the ocean - we had vacationed at the shore but only would spend an hour or two at the beach and did a lot more historical and art based activities growing up - the camp we were working at is in Plymouth, MA and she lived right near by and is definitely an ocean person. She took me home the first weekend and took me out lobstering (her family has a few traps) and motor boating around the bay. Then a couple weeks later when I fell and was really injured at camp she volunteered to give up her night off to take me to the ER so that the directors didnt have to leave camp and make others do extra work. She also brought me home again the following weekend so I could have a quiet comfortable place to rest and try to heal and took care of me when I spiked a horrible fever (side effect of the severity of the injury). She continued to be as caring and giving as we got closer as friends - but werent willing/ready to admit to stronger feelings because of the age difference and what everyone around us said about it. She was able to admit her feelings first and then when we were saying goodbye and went in to kiss each other's foreheads we slipped and ended up kissing and I couldnt keep denying how I felt anymore either.

We were “having problems” or I was about a year and a half in and he turned off the TV and turned to listen to me with his full attention and never got upset with me but talked through it with me. I knew then!

He's home to me, no matter where we are. He makes me feels safe, loved, beautiful and happy. I realized that pretty early on

That is very important in a relationship!!

There is just an energy between us that is different. He is so calm and understanding. We went through a lot of difficult things our first year and that we were able to come out stronger confirms that we can do anything when we do it together

Oh my, I don't even know where to start. My fiancé is truly one of a kind, every day I ask myself how did I get this lucky? He's smart, caring, passive, understanding, supportive, loving. He makes me feel like a true queen, like I deserve everything. The first time he saw me I can't explain the way he looked at me, it was like if he saw an angel in front of him. They way he makes me feel is unbelievable and that's when I knew I would NEVER find another man like him, never I swear. I am beyond blessed and I cant thank God enough for that

He's an old school gentleman holding doors open and such. Hes kind to my son which is a big plus. He brought the best of me out because I'll be honest I was a mess when he met me. My PTSD calmed down a lot because he made me feel safe and secure. Always making me laugh and feel like a kid again. Those are a few of the reasons I knew he was the one.

My fiancé loves Disney (movies) a lot too! Especially the old school ones lol we make our 8 year old watch all the good stuff like Dumbo, Jungle Book, Lion King, Pocanhotas, etc.!

There was just something about him I can’t ecplain it, I was just drawn to him like a magnet! I knew he was the one and wasn’t going to let him out of my sight until he was mine!

Omg that's amazing!!!!

He is the most loyal person I have ever met, and values loyalty above everything. In today's world, that's a huge deal! Plus, he's incredibly easy to talk to and be around, and we like doing all the same things.
