What did you consider above and beyond compared to other vendors you interviewed/hired? What did you appreciate most about them?

    Professionalism was the key for me. Vendors who didn’t seem to listen or keep track to what I was saying or who didn’t seem to grasp what I was asking for got bumped down the list. You want to be confident they know what they’re doing on the big day!

    Reputation, experience, communication skills, going above and beyond what one would expect.

    Our vendors were ones who matched our price range, were able to accommodate our vision, and who we felt that we could work with without issue. We also checked reviews before booking them to make sure that other couples did not run into any issues working with them.

    I trusted my gut. First, they had to have stellar reviews. Then they needed to be in my price range. But most of all, I just needed to feel that "click" with them. Our DJ was the same age as us, so totally knew the vibe we were going for our crowd. Our officiant ..... we are still in touch 5 months after the wedding! And our photographers? I had such a good feeling after our interview, like they rrally heard my concerns (looking stiff or always posed). I loved every vendor we chose.

    Good communication and customer support are essential. Vendors who are responsive to inquiries, provide clear communication, and offer support when issues arise are appreciated such as Adorb.co.
