What should I wear to a country club wedding?

Our friends are getting married next month, but i'm having a hard time trying to find something to wear to their event.... they say they are having a semi formal attire ... whatever that means... no jeans... My FH is in their bridal party and this is the first time I'm going to see him all suited up so I'd like to get some really cute pictures together, so I'd kinda like to match him with out looking like I'm trying to be apart of the bridal party when I'm not. their colors are chocolate and champagne... so that rules out the little black dress... beacause i don't think black and dark brown look good together... please help!

Don't try to match their wedding~ just go out and get a flattering dress that you love. What color suit is he wearing? Find something that coordinates, but doesn't necessarily match. Semi-formal just means they want you to dress up, but you don't need to show up in a full length gown.

You could wear a khaki/ tan dress pants or even a dress. That way its still brown, not black, but not matching either.

If your FH will be in chocolate/champagne to match the wedding party, you should be able to wear just about any color. Just get a cute cocktail dress in a fun color (I think a plum or gold color would be great, but that's just me).

A cute coctail dress would be great. basically stay away from champagne or chocolate, but anything else would be fine

I think the ivory is the most secure color and you can match several pieces of ivory color and chocolate and champaign color. it'll be look but not blinding.
