What should I wear to my bridal shower?

Hi guys. This may sound like a dumb question but are there "rules" as to what a bride is supposed to wear to her bridal shower? Does it have to be a dress? Does it have to be on the lighter side? Just curious!!! Smiley smile

    You can wear anything you want. with my first wedding I wore white to the showers and rehearsal dinner. I was only going to be a bride once (or so I thought) and had to live it up.

    I will be wearing either a white or sequin(our theme has sequins in it) shorter dress. And then I am also wearing a veil since I wont be wearing one on the wedding day.

    I would consider anything that you would wear to a nice restaurant, shower worthy.

    I had 2 showers and actually wore 2 different black & white dresses for them.

    I've seen ladies where nice slacks, skirts, dresses. Whatever you like, are comfortable wearing and suits the style of the occasion should help you choose an outfit.

    I think ill be wearing a navy lace dress that goes a little above my knee with my nude pumps. Maybe a light colored cardigan to go over it if its chilly. Theres no rules wear what you feel comfortable in!

    Thanks ladies Smiley smile It is going to be in February, so obviously COLD haha. Was thinking about not wearing a dress, but I feel like I should.
