what should I wear to my venue's food tasting tomorrow?

Personally I like to be semi formal when going out anywhere. Nice top or sweater with slacks is my fail safe "I don't know what to wear" clothes.

I say go with how you feel in the morning Especially with the rain.

Business or business casual.

I cannot imagine a tasting with 150 others! Wow!

Personally I would treat it as a dinner date with FH and in doing so usually business or business casual always wins out. A nice pair of slacks and sweater sound appropriate for the weather Our enue has larger tastings like that as well, I can't wait!

We havent had our tasting yet but i never thought about getting dressed up for it, not saying i would wear my sweats but I am probably wearing nice jeans with a nice top

Our venue does their tasting twice a year too so we were with a ton of other people. Basically we were in a large banquet room and they had food set up as a buffet, and an hors station. Everyone was in casual clothes, I wore jeans and heeled boots and a nice top.

Hmm, good question. We have our tasting in a few weeks. I agree with Sabrina, business casual sounds good.

Wow a 150 people tasting is an event. When i thought about it, at least you get to taste what food for 150 is like rather than what the chef created for 2.

Why would you dress up? I would just say be comfortable. I would dress decent, but not in semi-formal/formal attire. If you want to dress up, fine. But, you aren't trying to win them over. They want your business. They should be the ones dressed up.

I would wear jeans, a nice top & wedges. Unless, the venue ask you to dress formally; I wouldn't.

I'm going tonight, with other couples that also have an upcoming wedding. Wearing a black dress. I want to look nice for my FH, and enjoy this as a "date night".
