As I look online for inspiration for ceremony and reception decorations, I see all kinds of signs! Signs for unplugged ceremonies, ceremony welcome, guest book, dessert bar, signature drinks, and more! Are you setting up any signs to guide guests on where to go or what to do? If so, what signs are you displaying? Are you making them, or buying them? Let's see some pictures of your signs!
Also, an article I found with ideas for signs! https://www.theknot.com/content/unique-wedding-signage
Honestly as a guest I have never seen signs at a wedding. It's a brand new trend from Pinterest that hasn't really branched out to real life. The only ones we plan to have are menus listing food station selections, bar menu and a list of cake flavors. Possibly guestbook table with cards/gifts.
We are doing all of these plus a s'mores bar sign. We have an indoor and outdoor bar at our venue so I will be putting the shear solomon sign somewhere outside since there won't be a lot of decor out there.

I agree that this seems to be a new trend, at least for weddings that I've attended last year! I do think some of the signs can be useful. The only one I have at the moment is a photo guest book sign, also considering a welcome sign, but haven't decided for sure. I like that you're putting your menus on signs!

I've seen some fun unplugged ceremony signs! A kid's table sign is a good idea too. Where did you get your welcome sign from? I'm considering getting one for my wedding, but the ones I've seen are all so expensive!

Those are all beautiful signs! I especially like that last one. Very cool that your venue has an indoor and outdoor bar! Thank you for sharing!
For our minimony we only had a guestbook sign. For our big wedding we will have a welcome sign, guestbook sign, gift table sign and probably signs for the food if we continue with the buffet

Most signs tend to be redundant, and weddings generally follow a formula that is very rarely strayed from where layout/timeline are standard and guests are usually able to figure them out on their own.
We wil also have menus at each place setting to give them a heads up and cut down on congestion when they go up to fill plates.

Yes its a chalkboard. It will say welcome to the wedding of Jordan Kyle & Caitlin Marie Belcher (we are are already married) then our date.
We had numerous signs. We had a welcome sign, choose a seat not a side, hashtag, cards & gifts, candy bar, favors, guest book, and flip flop sign (we gave out flip flops to anyone that wanted to wear more comfortable shoes during the reception). The welcome sign, choose a seat not a side, and hashtag were large signs. We bought templates for them from Esty and had them printed through Vistaprint. The other signs were smaller and our decorator made them using her Cricut. We didn't have directional signs because we didn't feel they were necessary.
