This is truly the most different venue I have ever seen - it's pretty cool

Beautiful! The weather was not great so we had to move inside, but the barrel and pole/arch thing looked gorgeous. They later took them downstairs and were used in the reception. Here's the only pic I have of them set up so far:

Oh, in the scheme of things we were super lucky. The day before it absolutely poured down, just sheets of water, and in the weeks after many parts of the state have been flooding, yet we only had a light amount of rain when I was getting into the cars which got heavier at the time of the reception, and then it basically dried off. The ground was wet but we could have guests outside, we even got a brief, 5 minute bit of sun which we ran out to get photos in! We were SO happy, nothing could have taken away from that joy, not how filthy my dress got, not when my flats fell apart from getting too wet.. we were just too overjoyed, haha! So nothing but gratitude

It might sound crazy, but we LOVED the bridal suites! The price was INCREDIBLE too!!

We wanted a venue that could do a reception and a ceremony all in one because we are not doing a religious ceremony, so we felt it was fine to do a ceremony in the reception venue. We found our place and it was well within our budget range and the room we chose to big enough for our wedding size and spacious.

I chose our venue because it is looking over a marina, they do food and drinks, they have accommodation for all the guests, the lady I spoke with when I booked it seemed lovely and it's in the place that I want so overall it was a great deal to have it here
