What song are you using?

So I just realized not everyone uses the typical wedding match when the bride walks down the aisle. If you're not using the traditional song what are you using for yourself and the bridesmaids going down the aisle? Are you using that song for when you walk back up the aisle as a married couple or...

If you're not using the traditional song what are you using for yourself and the bridesmaids going down the aisle? Are you using that song for when you walk back up the aisle as a married couple or something different?

These are all such beautiful suggestions! I hadn't even considered using non-traditional music in the ceremony. These are great ideas to consider!

ARG! That's terrible (not the song but that you were shot down). May I suggest keeping some details secret? That way nobody rains on your parade and you create the wedding you want. Our details were top secret and I'd do that again.

I can't decide! I really like A Thousand Years instrumental but my friend who just got married (whose wedding I was in, and she's in ours) used that. I think we may consider Ed Sheeran! We have plenty of time so we will see.

Both of these songs are FUNtastic. Had to relisten to the Shire Theme again--good one for entrance.

I don't know about my bridemaids yet, but I will be walking down to the Jurrasic Park Theme by The Piano Guys. Most of my family in friends know my love for the movie and dinosaurs growing up. As of right now my mom and fiancé are the only ones I've told. I kinda want it to be a surprise!
May not be everyones cup of tea but I do love their version of the song! Give it a listen!

Groom and wedding party walked to “Take A Chance On Me” by ABBA (my husband’s pick). I walked to “Make You Feel My Love” by Adele (my pick). For the recessional song we both chose “For Once In My Life” by Stevie Wonder.

FH and I are walking down together with Passenger Seat by Death Cab for Cutie. After the wedding we have a surprise Balkan Brass Band playing as the whole wedding processes to the cocktail hour. Still have to narrow which of their songs the will start with.

Oh thank you. We are both huge Stevie Wonder fans and we knew we would use one of his songs.

When I was going through the planning process, I posted here that we were thinking of using "99 Problems" by Jay Z as our recessional (I was kidding) and people did NOT think it was funny - well, 2 people did. When we told our DJ we wanted that song, he laughed for 5 minutes, I mean, could not catch his breath laugh. If I had a different crowd I might have used it but not everyone gets our sense of humor. I will say the ABBA song was a huge hit - people actually started laughing and applauding which made my husband very happy.
