What song are you using?

So I just realized not everyone uses the typical wedding match when the bride walks down the aisle. If you're not using the traditional song what are you using for yourself and the bridesmaids going down the aisle? So I just realized not everyone uses the typical wedding match when the bride walks down the aisle. If you're not using the traditional song what are you using for yourself and the bridesmaids going down the aisle? Are you using that song for when you walk back up the aisle as a married couple or something different?

We're using Canon in D for our wedding party walking down and then Claire de Lune for me walking down the aisle. Both will be played by a string quartet. As we walk down the aisle at the end, we will have Beautiful Day by U2 played (by the string quartet also).

For the wedding party we are using Daniel Jang's violin version of "Say You Won't Let Go" by James Arthur and his violin version of "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran for the father/bride walk. They're such pretty remakes and I can't wait to hear them the day of. We will all walk back up the aisle to "One I want" by Flatland Cavalry.

My first wedding I was 27 and the now-ex was 29. Everyone we knew was so shocked when we decided to get married, I had the R.E.M. song "it's the end of the world as we know it" when I walked down the aisle. (To appease more traditional grandparents, the usual wedding march played at the end of the ceremony, though.)

When I’m walking down the aisle the DJ will be playing an instrumental cover of Louis Armstrong’s ‘What A Wonderful World’.
When the groom and I walk back down as a married couple we’re going to have Bill Withers’ ‘Just The Two Of Us’ playing.

I'm only doing a song while I walk down the aisle; no bridal party and no recessional. But the song I'm walking down to is an acoustic guitar version of "From This Moment On" by Shania Twain. I've loved her music since I was born, practically, and I always imagined walking down to it. I highly recommend you check out the Bridesmaids Quartet on Spotify if you're looking for acoustic guitar music!

Bon jovi’s “Thank you for loving me.” My entertainment coordinator is transcribing it so the string trio I have can play it. It’s a long song so everyone will use it during the professional. I will come out during the crescendo.

"Small Moments" by Above & Beyond. We are very into the electronic music scene and this is a beautiful song on piano that most people wouldn't even recognize from this artist.

Cellist is right! I play cello, so it's always exciting when someone else uses cello for a wedding.
