Also - anyone using any red dirt music at their wedding?

EDIT - Red dirt music is a mix of country and rock that is very popular in Oklahoma and Texas. It is also sung and written by local artists. For anyone interested in listening to something new, please look up Turnpike Troubadours or Randy Rogers band Smiley smile

I entered to VSQ's cover of "Storybook Love" from The Princess Bride because it's a beautiful piece from one of my all time favorite movies.

We know our choices are very different but so are we lol. We're sure no guests have heard them at a wedding before. Walking down to black Sabbath (can't recall name of the song right now). It was picked because it's FH favorite all time band. BP walking to Wedding Day by bee gees (my favorite band).

    What is red dirt music?

I walked down the aisle to the Jurassic Park theme, played via keyboard.

I'd love to walk down the aisle to Tyrone Wells, perhaps 'This Moment Now' either instrumental or the actual song. But other than that, I'm at a loss....I like too many songs to choose from!

I'm stuck between two. Instrumental version of 'Vienna' by Billy Joel (it's a very special song to me and has been for years. And just recently starting to sing it to FH before falling asleep) OR Ruelle's 'I Get To Love You' I love the second song but I felt like maybe it's too common. I'm just torn but I have a little while before I have to make up my mind.

I'm doing Can't Help Falling in Love with You. I really wanted the Andrea Boccelli version, but the only recording is live so I'm looking around. I just wanted something non-traditional that was still meanginful to us. We both really like the song and it does represent our relationship. I wanted the Boccelli version because that's one of my Fiance's favorite singers, but I'll have to settle for a different version.

    Processional :

DH & bridal party - instrumental version of "Groovy Kind of Love"

Me - "I Get to Love You" by Ruelle

    Recessional :

A JT & Rick Astley mash-up of "Never Gonna Give You Up" & "Can't Stop the Feeling"

My friend is singing "time after time" as I walk down the aisle. It is one of my all time favorites. Its also sweet because my dad is walking me and we both love the song.

For my wedding we had a quarter mile walk back into a very open, airy cave so we had the sounds of nature for our processional.
