What song are you walking down the aisle to?

What song are you walking down the aisle to? Is it something traditional like the bridal march? Or are you switching it up and using something more modern? Photo by Vision Expressions in GA For more on ceremony choices, check out: Are you including a unity ceremony? and Custom or classic vows? ...

My husband and I walked down the aisle together to the opening theme from The Shape of Water. It was perfect for our nighttime/pre-Halloween wedding. That whole soundtrack is beautiful!

We walked down the aisle to "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" (but an instrumental violin version) because we met working at Disney's Animal Kingdom (:

Right now we are planning on walking in together to the Star Wars theme song. It's got about 5 seconds of exciting lead up and then 25 seconds of big, triumphant music, which is about how long it will take us to walk in, and then we will have it just fade out as soon as we get to the officiant when the song slows down.

Wow, there is A LOT of diversity here. I am 90% sure I am going to walk down to "The Simple Song" by The Shins. It is a little fast paced for a traditional processional, so that is why I am still on the fence a little. But it is my FH's and I song as we are both huge How I Met Your Mother fans and that is the song that plays the first time we meet the mother. Plus, it would be a surprise for my FH as I wouldn't tell him beforehand. My second choice is to have my entire processional including bridal party walk down to "God Only Knows" by The Beach Boys.

Going totally traditional and using Canon in D. My girls will be walking in to Can’t Help Falling in Love by Elvis though (acoustic version performed by our string trio).

Home At Last by Trevor Jones from the Labyrinth soundtrack! I decided that years before FH and I even met. That movie means more to me than almost anything, and I get teary eyed around the 35 sec mark when I picture the big entrance. Smiley cry 💕
