Hmmm, I guess we won't have a cake smash. I will have spent too much money to have it ruined and cake on my face for photos. Absolutely not.

This is such a fun question. We have more on that list than on the we want list! No first dance, no cake nor smash, no assigned seats, no bridal party (we're walking together), no garter or bouquet toss, NO OBEY, no gift registry... it's going to be so dope! It's super "us", don't worry, guys, it will be fine haha! My boo is NOT into being the center of attention. He's a 9 on the enneagram if y'all are familiar

Quick point, no one - possibly including you, the bride - will not remember what your centerpieces looked like, let alone chairs, china, glassware and flatware.

I didn't think much of what I refuse to have at my wedding, rather I focused on what was worth the money.

I refuse to have children under 12 at my wedding. Sorry, but just don't want to have kids running around and crying in the background of my wedding video.

No children except ring bearer and flower girl in the bridal party! My son and daughter will be the only ones standing in the wedding with us.


No mason jars! Definitely no cake smash in the face—paying too much for hair/makeup and dress for that!
I Love the boot scoot and boogie and soul train line dances—but no chicken dance or Macarena!

Thinking about eliminating the garter toss! May still keep the bouquet toss? Definitely NO BURLAP or cheesy Bday-like decorations! No assigned seats! Serving a specialty rum drink for the toast—no champagne. Cash bar for beer or wine—not decided yet???

No tossing of the bouquet, no garter thing and ABSOLUTELY NO "Wifey" anything. Am I the only person who despises that phrase? "wifey" ... it literally makes my skin crawl.

No cheesy photos, either. I don't need - or want- a photo of us staring off into the sky or anything like that. Sure others love that stuff, but I am not into it. Sorry, but that's me. lol

Absolutely no sneakers under my dress. Im a tall woman and love my heels. I think sneakers take away the elegance of a dress.
