What time did your reception end?

We are starting cocktails at 6pm and ending the reception at 12am.

My wedding was from 5 pm to 11pm. It was enough time for me. 10pm is a little early.

Mine ends at FUN O CLOCK....or one am. Whatever

Mine ended at 10. We had an after party at our hotel in the bar. It lasted until 3 or 4. We went to bed around 1 or 2 I think.

My first wedding reception was over around 9, but the BP, some friends/cousins went out for drinks/apps/bowling afterwards.

This time, I expect it to be over early. Way early. At most we'll have 60 guests and not many young people (likely little to no dancing). However, we're planning to have at least some people hang out at the B&B with us afterwards (some will be spending the night as well) - maybe drink/play games/???.

We had our venue until 2am. then the coach took everyone back to my uncle's bar. We left at 4am, but apparently our guests partied until 6am.

Ours is going to be a daytime wedding, and I expect us to be out of there by 8 at the latest! Not sure what the evening will hold? small informal get together? bar hoping? Only time will tell!

Our reception ends at 10, depending on how hammer timed I am we will go out afterwards!

Where are you located? My wedding is in the evening from 8pm until 12:30am. Its pretty late. We also like to throw parties so trust me In am with you on that. Where have you been looking?

That's the only thing I regretted about my venue. I had my wedding at a state park, and the park closed at dusk. So we had to be out of there by 8. Reception was over so we could take everything down at 7:30. Sucked, but oh well, it was a Sunday so it wasn't going to be a late night anyway.

Ours ends at 10:30...but that's just because of the way the timing worked out, ours will let us end up until 2am I believe...

@ Karen Awesome now thats a party!!! I love it. I wish we could party until 2am too. But it costs extra. Considering that we are also leaving for the honeymoon at 6am that morning LOL

Our reception is from 8:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. There's a restaurant at the venue (a hotel) that stays open until 2:00 a.m. There's a few guests staying at the hotel and depending on how we feel, we may continue at the restaurant's lounge.

IDK what time ours will end b/c I have the venue from 7am- midnight that day .... as long as everyone is out by midnight i guess we are good! LOL

My reception ends at 10:30 and everyone has to be out by 11 :/ It's the venue's rule, not ours. Afterparty at the hotel unless I'm too tired.. well, I mean, everyone else can party but if I'm exhausted I'm going to sleep..

We have our reception venue from 7-11. We will probably end it at about 10 so we have time for clean up.

I am half hispanic and know what you mean about them waiting to party all night! Our reception is from 8PM to 2AM!!!

@ hot Chocolate. It was a great night! Irish weddings tend to go late into the night/morning. We had a destination wedding, so everyone was on vacation and down to party!

We have the ballroom scheduled from 4-10 but they said we can stay however late we want. My DJ will play however long I want him to. Plus there is a bar in the hotel open until 2am so I plan on us partying it for a bit. Everyone is looking forward to it plus a lot of locals plan on getting rooms at the hotel.
